Betsy Mason

Betsy Mason is a freelance science journalist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her writing on animal cognition and behavior has appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times, Scientific American, Science News, and Knowable Magazine. Previously she worked as science editor at WIRED and is co-author of All Over the Map, a book about maps and cartography published in 2018 by National Geographic.
